About Jackie

Jackie is a proven leader with deep experience in business, real estate, and community service. She spent 13 years in management and project management at a Fortune 100 company and later co-owned and operated a construction business, giving her firsthand insight into the challenges small business owners face.

Jackie has been a realtor for 21 years helping families build wealth through homeownership. A graduate of the UMKC Realtor Leadership Academy, which includes a focus on  how to make cities thrive by lifting up their communities.

A lifelong resident of Independence, Jackie raised her three children- Nick (wife Kristen), Tori and Becca (husband Jake), here and they have all established roots in Independence. They have all chosen careers of service—as a police officer, a healthcare professional, and a teacher. Jackie is also a proud grandmother to three grandsons – Levi, Quinn and Carter and one granddaughter- Rosie.

Jackie believes it is time for Independence to take better care of the people who live and work here. She is committed to restoring faith in Independence city government, welcoming and supporting small businesses, improving communication and citizen engagement, and ensuring voters—not politicians —have a voice in major city decisions
